go henry
GoHenry is a fintech company that provides a prepaid Visa debit card and financial education app aimed at children and teenagers aged 6 to 18. It was co-founded by Louise Hill and Dean Brauer in 2012 in London, and is named after its very first customer — an 11-year-old boy called Henry.
The app and card are designed to help kids learn to earn, save, and spend, with bite-sized gamified lessons to teach lifelong money skills. Parents have full oversight and control, being able to set weekly allowances, assign chores that kids can earn money for completing, and set spending limits or restrictions on where the card can be used.
